i just noticed that thiz post haz been gettin lot uv traffic lateli frm people lookin 4 sxse festival in myrtle beach... sc. sumhow it haz bubbled 2 top uv gurgl index on topic even tho it wuz frm last year n wuz bout my inabilitee 2 make it 2 sxsw interactiv festival. weird. 2 anybody i mite has confused... i’m sorry. 2 exclude search result that r talkin bout sxsw... try searchin 4 “sxse myrtle beach“. hope that help!!??!!

i known that it wuz comin. how could i not wit all buzz bout it 4 last few months??! truth iz that i would love 2 b at south by southwes (sxsw). in past week alone followin people has postd bout packin up n goin down 2 austin=

but like jeff croft... i not b there. there just 2 much up in air rite now. financialli... amy n i r savin up 4 move 2 location we don’t even know yet. she in that weird holdin pattern between graduation n hearin frm phd programz. we prettee confident that she wil get acceptd at universitee uv south carolina in columbie 4 fall... but we not start makin planz til we get that letta/email. which meanz we don’t know if we even goin that direction... which meanz that i not start lookin 4 employment... which meanz we not set any kind uv budget... which meanz no major purchasez 4 little while... which meanz plane ticket 2 texas.

there timez when we (at least i) don’t think bout impact uv all thiz... n just go bout life as normal. but there r otha timez when u can cut tension wit knife. 1 uv bigges issuez iz that our extension 4 livin in on-campus married housin here at uf expirez on april 18th. it would b nice if we could stay there in same apartment until we leavin florida... but if we not get anotha extension... realitee iz that we’ll b puttin our stuff in storage n findin sublease – or movin hoem – or sumthin.

regardless uv all circumstancez n uncertaintee tho... i stand behind my wife. as long as we been togetha... it been ha goal 2 get phd in chemical engineerin n it my goal 2 encourage ha 2 pursue that dream... but there not much i can do 2 encourage when we playin waitin game. in mean tiem... i’ll b prayin 4 acceptance letta frm south carolina – soon!!??!!

    i’m in same boat as u jason... my girlfriend haz submittd applicationz 4 masta program at 4 different schoolz around country (1 in beautiful vancouva i’m crossin my finga 4). until then... we just sayin that in summa we’ll b gone…we just don’t know where yet.

    o n wish i could gone 2 sxsw 2... maybe next year.

    vancouva iz actualli quiet warm... in summa. i onli been there few timez... once durin very rainin january n once durin very warm juli. bay iz actualli warm enough in summa 2 swim in (no... not wit wetsuit or anythin).

    my girlfriend n i sound like exact opposiet... four schoolz uv choice r= univ. uv british columbia... chicago art institue... bard (upstate ny) n columbia (nyc). lookz like we aren’t goin south uv same horizontal line u n amy has drawn ;)
